Prepare fertile, aerated and well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring/early fall in a sunny place or start seeds indoor about 4 weeks in advance and transplant when soil temperature is higher than 50 F. Plant distance should be > 1’. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Harvest broccoli when the buds of the head are firm and tight before the heads flower. Let side branches grow to extend harvest.
Culinary tips: Used in steam, stir-fry or soup etc.
