Prepare fertile, aerated and well-drained soil. Sow seeds in late spring/early fall in a sunny place or start seeds indoor about 4 weeks in advance and transplant when soil temperature is higher than 50 F. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Harvest main stalk when when 2-3 flowers are open. Let side branches grow to extend harvest.
